The Whiskey Wanderlust

This cocktail is perfect for those looking for a new whiskey experience that isn't too sweet. It features 2 oz of high-quality bourbon, 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1/2 oz of honey syrup (made by combining equal parts honey and hot water). To add a little adventure and complexity, I've also added 1/2 oz of Amaro Nonino, a bitter Italian liqueur made with herbs, caramel, and citrus. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over a large ice cube. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy the bold flavors and subtle sweetness of "The Whiskey Wanderlust".
