Source & methodology
Scope. A read-only snapshot of BarGPT’s production recipe archive, retrieved at 2026-10-01T02:58:50.806Z. Includes records not explicitly hidden from display, with a nonempty recipe ID and a creation date before retrieval (or no creation date). Duplicate recipe IDs are counted once, retaining the first record in database ID order. Different recipe IDs can contain similar or identical recipes.
Coverage. 32,480 distinct recipe IDs; 32,466 with usable ingredient lists. The 14 records without usable ingredient lists are excluded from every ingredient percentage and ingredient-count calculation. 32,480 records have valid creation dates, spanning 2023-03-19 to 2026-10-01 (UTC).
Counting. Ingredient names are lowercased, trimmed, and have repeated whitespace collapsed. Duplicate names within a recipe count once. Family words match at word boundaries; a recipe counts once per family. Whiskey combines whiskey, whisky, bourbon, scotch, and rye; brandy combines brandy and cognac; coffee combines coffee and espresso. Citrus combines lime, lemon, orange, and grapefruit. No brand-name mapping or inference from prompts is performed. Exact matching patterns are in the JSON download.
Interpretation. These are descriptive statistics from a self-selected AI recipe archive. Word matching can include zero-proof spirits, flavored syrups, or garnishes and miss brands without a family word. Rye can also refer to a non-spirit ingredient. Ingredient counts include ice and garnishes and do not merge synonyms. Percentages use unrounded counts and are rounded to one decimal place; the mean is rounded to two. The dataset does not measure real-world preferences or verified nutrition.
Updates. This is a fixed snapshot, not a live counter. Future editions are refreshed from the database and carry a new retrieval date. Dated downloads remain available for checking older citations. Only aggregate results are published; user information and prompts are excluded.
