The Unfortunate Experiment

This cocktail is a bizarre mixture of flavors that tastes amazing but looks and smells terrible. It's made with a combination of gin, pickle juice, and grenadine syrup. To create the perfect taste, finely chop a piece of ginger and add it to the bottom of the shaker. Add 2oz of gin, 1oz of pickle juice, and 1oz of grenadine syrup to the shaker, then squeeze in the juice of half a lime. Shake everything vigorously with ice, then strain the mixture into a tall glass over ice. To finish it off, garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme and a toothpick with a pickled cucumber on it.
