The Berry Boss Defeater

Description: Inspired by the adrenaline of facing off against the notorious Bob in Green Acres, this cocktail channels the energy of a final boss battle. The Berry Boss Defeater features a bold blend of fresh mixed berries, crisp vodka, and a hint of herbaceous basil, topped with a fizzy, tart finish. Its vibrant color and layered flavors are just the power-up you need to take down your biggest foe. Ingredients: - 2 oz premium vodka - 1 oz mixed berry puree (blend of raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries) - 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice - 1/2 oz basil simple syrup (see below) - 2 oz club soda - 3 fresh basil leaves (plus more for garnish) - Mixed berries for garnish Basil Simple Syrup: - 1/2 cup water - 1/2 cup sugar - 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves Instructions: 1. Make the basil simple syrup: Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, add basil leaves, and let simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and strain. 2. In a shaker, muddle 3 basil leaves with the lemon juice and berry puree. 3. Add vodka and basil simple syrup. Shake well with ice. 4. Strain into a chilled highball glass filled with fresh ice. 5. Top with club soda and stir gently. 6. Garnish with a sprig of basil and a skewer of mixed berries.
