Jameson Ginger Fizz

- 2 oz Jameson Irish whiskey - 1 oz fresh ginger syrup* - 1 oz fresh lime juice - Soda water - Lime wheel, for garnish Instructions: 1. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the Jameson, ginger syrup, and lime juice. 2. Shake until well chilled and strain into a tall glass filled with ice. 3. Top with soda water and stir gently. 4. Garnish with a lime wheel and serve. *To make the ginger syrup, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1/2 cup fresh ginger (peeled and chopped) in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve and let cool before using.
