Grandpa's Legacy

This is a classic cocktail that is a nod to the drinks that my grandfather would sip on. It's a combination of whiskey, sweet vermouth, and a dash of bitters. To make this drink, you'll need: - 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye works well) - 1 oz sweet vermouth - 2 dashes of Angostura bitters - Garnish: orange peel To make the cocktail, fill a mixing glass with ice and add the whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. Stir well for about 30 seconds until the drink is well chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled glass and garnish with a twist of orange peel.
