Ginger Whiskey Fizz

Ingredients: - 2 oz of whiskey - 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice - 1 oz of ginger syrup (you can make this by heating up equal parts ginger, water, and sugar until sugar is dissolved and then straining out the ginger) - 4 oz of ginger beer - Ice Method: 1. Fill a shaker with ice. 2. Add the whiskey, lemon juice, and ginger syrup to the shaker. 3. Shake the ingredients vigorously for about 10 seconds. 4. Fill a glass with ice. 5. Strain the contents of the shaker into the glass. 6. Top off the glass with ginger beer. 7. Give it a gentle stir. 8. Garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of fresh mint. 9.
