Café Con Crema

This dessert cocktail features a unique fat wash, lending a richness and depth to the drink. To make the fat wash, we infuse 2 oz of dark rum with 1 tablespoon of melted butter for 2 hours, then freeze and strain out the solidified fat. To this, we add 1 oz of cold brew coffee, 1 oz of heavy cream, 1/2 oz of simple syrup, and a dash of vanilla extract. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a coffee bean. The result is a velvety smooth, rich and creamy cocktail with a subtle coffee flavor that's perfect for a nightcap or after dinner treat.
