Bourbon Pear Fizz

This refreshing cocktail is perfect for any occasion! Combine 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of pear simple syrup, and 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice in a shaker. Add ice and shake well. Strain into a glass filled with ice, then top with soda water. Garnish with a slice of fresh pear, and enjoy! To make the pear simple syrup, combine equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan, add chunks of ripe pear, and simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the pear is soft. Strain the mixture and let it cool before using in the cocktail.
