Basil Bourbon Sour

Ingredients: - 2 oz bourbon - 1 oz fresh lemon juice - ¾ oz simple syrup - 3-4 fresh basil leaves - Ice - Basil leaves and lemon wheel, for garnish Instructions: 1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh basil leaves until fragrant. 2. Add the bourbon, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice to the shaker. 3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until the drink is well-chilled. 4. Double strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice. 5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a lemon wheel. 6. Serve and enjoy a perfect blend of the sweet and sour taste with a hint of fresh basil.
