Tea Party

Glass: Vintage teacup, to stay true to the Alice in Wonderland theme. Ingredients: - 1.5 oz Gin (preferably a floral one for a whimsical taste) - 0.5 oz UME Plum Liqueur for a sweet and tart balance - 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice, for a citrusy edge - 0.5 oz Simple syrup, to add sweetness - 2 oz Chilled Earl Grey tea, for a nod to the traditional tea party and to add depth - A splash of Soda water, for effervescence - Dry ice (optional, for the smoke effect; handle with care and do not ingest or allow direct contact with skin) Instructions: 1. Brew the Earl Grey tea and allow it to chill in the refrigerator. This can be done ahead of time. 2. In a shaker, combine gin, UME Plum Liqueur, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and chilled Earl Grey tea. Fill the shaker with ice and give it a vigorous shake for about 15 seconds. 3. Strain the mixture into your selected vintage teacup. 4. Gently top off with a splash of soda water to add fizz. 5. For the smoke effect: Use a small piece of dry ice (optional) and drop it into the drink right before serving. Ensure to advise your guests to allow the dry ice to completely dissolve and the drink to stop smoking before consuming.
