Northern Lantern

A bold and robust whiskey cocktail inspired by the northern lights, combining whiskey’s deep flavors with herbal and citrus notes. A hint of pine liqueur brings a unique forest aroma, while a touch of honey and lemon balances strength with complexity. Ingredients: - 50 ml rye whiskey - 10 ml pine liqueur (such as Zirbenz or a quality pine-flavored spirit) - 10 ml honey syrup (1:1 honey and water) - 1 dash Angostura bitters - 1 dash orange bitters - Lemon twist and small rosemary sprig for garnish Instructions: 1. Add whiskey, pine liqueur, honey syrup, and both bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice. 2. Stir well until chilled and properly diluted. 3. Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass over a large ice cube. 4. Express a lemon twist over the top for brightness, then drop it in. 5.
