Instructions

This innovative cocktail serves as a tribute to three beloved classics: beer, martini, and wine, harmoniously united in a layered drink that presents a visual and flavorful journey from dawn to dusk. Perfect for those who appreciate a sophisticated blend of flavors and a stunning presentation. Glass: Tall and slender hurricane glass Ingredients: - 1 oz Pomegranate liqueur - 1 oz Aperol - 2 oz Chilled prosecco or a crisp white wine - 1 oz Gin (preferably a floral variety) - 1/2 oz Dry vermouth - 2 oz Craft pale ale (choose something with citrus notes) - Honey and crushed blackberries for rimming - Ice cubes - Garnish: Orange peel and a sprig of rosemary Instructions: 1. Prepare your glass first by gently rimming it with honey and then dipping it into crushed blackberries to coat the rim. This adds a sweet, fruity entrance to the drink. 2. In a shaker, combine the gin and dry vermouth with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain and carefully pour this martini base into the prepared glass. 3. Slowly pour the prosecco or white wine over the back of a spoon onto the martini layer, creating a gentle gradient effect. 4. In a separate mixing glass, gently stir the pomegranate liqueur and Aperol with ice to chill. Again, using the back of a spoon, carefully layer this mixture over the wine to create the final layer. 5. Top the drink with the craft pale ale, pouring it slowly to maintain the distinct layers. 6. Garnish with an orange peel, ensuring it spirals around the inside of the glass, and a sprig of rosemary. 7. Serve immediately and enjoy the Eclipsed Sunset Trio, a drink that evolves in flavor as you make your way through the layers, reflecting the transition from day to night.
