Lively citrus limoncello cocktail with Raksi whiskey warmth
Description: Inspired by the lively citrus notes of limoncello and the warm depth of Raksi whiskey, this cocktail is a refreshing journey through flavors. Picture the sharpness of lemons softened by the distinct earthy touch of millet whiskey, complemented with a hint of herbal freshness. It's a perfect balance of zing and warmth, ideal for sipping on a sunny day or reminiscing under the stars.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Raksi Whiskey
- 1 oz Limoncello
- 0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
- 2 Fresh Basil Leaves
- Club Soda, to top
- Lemon Wheel and Basil Sprig, for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a shaker, gently muddle the basil leaves with the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup.
2. Add the Raksi whiskey and limoncello.
3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
4. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
5. Top with club soda and gently stir.
6. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of basil.
