Twilight at the Orchard

Glass: Old-Fashioned Glass Description: Twilight at the Orchard is a sophisticated, multilayered cocktail that brings together the warm notes of autumn with a delicate balance of sweetness, spice, and a hint of fruitiness. This cocktail seamlessly combines the rich darkness of The Kraken dark spiced rum with the unique sweetness of caramel liqueur, and the intriguing complexity of bergamot peach tea. The addition of maple rye whiskey introduces a robust, maple-infused backbone, while Calvados apple brandy enhances the fruit notes without overpowering the delicate balance of flavors. Organic blue agave syrup is used to provide a natural sweetness that ties all the components together without the need for honey or simple syrup. A dash of homemade limoncello adds a bright citrusy note, ensuring a refreshing aftertaste. The cocktail is finished with a sprinkle of smoked sea salt, adding a smoky depth that complements the spiced rum beautifully, and a few drops of chocolate bitters to introduce a complex, lingering finish.
