Saigon Sunset

A Southeast Asian twist on the classic Hurricane cocktail, the Saigon Sunset captures the vibrant and exotic flavors of the region. This drink combines the refreshing taste of citrus with the rich sweetness of honey and a visual flair that evokes a sunset over the Saigon River. Glass: Highball or Collins glass Base: Bacardi White Rum Build: Shaken and strained Garnish: Orange wheel, lime wedge, and mint sprig (on top, not in the drink). Ingredients: 1½ oz White rum ¾ oz Orange juice ½ oz Pineapple juice ½ oz Lime juice ¼ oz Honey syrup Dash Grenadine (for “sunset” fade color gradient) Instructions: 1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the white rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and honey syrup. 2. Shake well until the mixture is chilled. 3. Strain the mixture into a highball or Collins glass filled with ice. 4. Carefully layer a dash of grenadine by slowly pouring it over the back of a spoon, allowing it to settle at the bottom for a beautiful sunset gradient. 5. Garnish with an orange wheel, a lime wedge, and a mint sprig placed atop the drink. 6. Serve immediately and enjoy the vibrant flavors and colors of the Saigon Sunset.
